I would have given a 10 for the hotel, but as we didn't have breakfast have to hold back.
The room was spacious and clean, with an airy and modern feel.
The location is brilliant, places to eat and drink just around the corner, on the heritage trail and best of all less than 10 minute walk from the Porte Jeune tram stop which enables you to go anywhere in the city (4.50 euros for 24 hours travel).

The owner was amazing. Really polite hospitable. We had a really nice chat.
The location of the property was good since it was not too far away from the train station. Also lots of shops and restaurants close by. Also it was really nice and clean.

Located in the centre of Mulhouse, this hotel is 2 km from Mulhouse-Ville Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Place de la Réunion. It features an elevator and a dining room with patio views.
Great location, friendly staff, nice convenient silent rooms.
Although Mulhouse has a colourful historic centre with cobbled squares and half-timbered houses, the city is best known for its industry. Textile production shot the city into the limelight, a fact detailed in the Museum of Printed Textiles.
The world’s largest train collection is in the multi-coloured French National Railway Museum, next to the Electropolis electricity museum. The National Automobile Museum is also the world’s largest and features the Schlumpf Collection of classic cars and an exhibition track. To the east is the Parc Expo Mulhouse event centre, while west is the train station.
The heart of the city is Place de la Réunion where pavement cafes overlook the 16th-century town hall, decorated with frescoes and a 2-sided staircase. The Mulhouse Christmas market is held here at the foot of the Protestant St Stephen’s Church with its towering spire.
The Catholic church of the same name also has a tall tower, and the Tour de l’Europe is a modern skyscraper with a restaurant on top. Its 3 sides face France, Switzerland and Germany, reflecting the history of the Alsace which was under Swiss and German rule before joining France once and for all.
EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg also serves the 3 countries, and Booking.com has a good range of luxury hotels, and cheap apartments and B&Bs nearby.

Although it is a provincial town, close to Switzerland and Germany, Mulhouse is not to be missed, I was charmed by the old part of town, with its weekend bookshops, quality shops, and Alsacian restaurants, but also the car and train museums!

A beautiful city centre, very historic and pretty. Close enough to take a short drive to Basel in Switzerland and into Germany. In three days based there we visited 3 countries!
We recommend the Winstub factory to eat but make sure you book as it is extremely popular.

I would never recommend somebody to stay in this apartment.

First they ask you to deposit 300 euros to receive the code to enter the apartment, and they do not return the money.
The sheets are dirty.

Seemingly just another industrial city there is plenty of top quality museums both in Mulhouse and in nearby Basel, including the Cite du Train (Mulhouse); and the Toy World Museum and the Paper Mill (in Basel). City centre is compact and walkable, plus there's a tramway that links to the railway station.

Mulhouse is an old industrial town and this is reflected in the main tourist attraction - the French national railway and car museums both of which are well worth a visit.
I was able to walk to the latter but the former involved a trip on the City's tram network which was frequent, cheap and appeared to offer a reasonable coverage of the main parts of the city.
Mulhouse is not that far from Strasbourg and Colmar and was a good base for sightseeing in the region.

We were only on a short holiday so two days was probably about right. Mulhouse is a very pleasant town. Not as pretty as Colmar which we visited earlier in the day, but still a very pleasant and friendly place to stay. We formed the opinion that Mulhouse is probably a very stress free, and attractive place to live. We enjoyed our stay and ate very well.
Terrible place to stay-in in Mulhouse...
The pictures are not like the real place
It was not clean at all, not lightful and not safe at all...
The room was so dirty that we couldn't stay there and had to book another hotel for our holiday
Aroung the building the streets are plenty of rubbish, people don't seem to be quiet and we didn't trust to leave our car parked there...
The owner of the apartment didn't answer to the phone and it was impossible to have a conversation with him, so we lost all our money...
I had a stop on my way to southern France to visit the very nice car museum which is definitely worth a visit (while Mulhouse seemed like one of the less attractive towns in Alsace to me). Spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff, central location and a parking lot. The hotel is a shared place with a senior citizen's home which I wasn't fully aware of when booking but this didn't bother me at all for the time I stayed there.
It is very good as a 3-star hotel. I wanted to rate 9 overall with all pros/cons, but comparing to some other 3-star places (which received 8 from me), I cannot give less than 10!
Price was good, and the location as well (though, you may stray a little bit in the very centre), the room is beautiful ... perfect for 2-night sleep, while travelling from this destination.
And by the way - there is a small fridge in the room.
The staff was very friendly to me. The hotel is clean and comfortable and perfect temperature. It is a nice place to sleep before hitting the road again the next morning. It is nothing flashy as it is a budget hotel and it appears to be an old Ibis Budget hotel. I would for sure stay here again. The parking is so easy. The rates are perfect for me as I need affordable.
The apartment is located in a great location, just steps to the lively Christmas market, able to walk to Gare de Mulhouse. Check-in/out was quick and easy. The room was clean and cosy with good wi-fi signal. Jerome was helpful and prompt in replying. Overall, we had a great stay here in Mulhouse.
Everything in the kitchen was there, the tv had netflix and amazon prime, and it was easy to get in and out. Since it was so close to the centre of Mulhouse, it was also easy to get groceries from the supermarket just down the street, and find a bakery closeby.
The staff was very friendly and helpful (despite my poor French!); the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable; the price simply could not be beat.
And we enjoyed walking around Mulhouse...a surprising gem!
very convenient location on the way from germany to the south of france.
excellent varied breakfast. children's playroom (but right at the entrance) it's not very secured if you have to leave the kids alone.
Very helpful staff. Secure storage for our bicycles. Room clean. Beds comfortable. Location central. This is an older, 2/3 star hotel and the facilities reflect this . It is good value for money.
we had a very nice weekend within the resid hotel, very well located within the city center of Mulhouse, in addition the staff were pleasant, we’re looking forward to come back !
